I should be writing a draft for one of my school requirements but chose to waste precious time on nonsensical tasks like this. Yeah yeah that’s what I always do *guilty*
Here’s my take on Jam’s latest CD. Violent reactions not welcome hehehe

I’m not an Eraserheads groupie ever since but I learned to appreciate their music even more with this album. I have to admit that I don’t recognize some of the songs but they were nevertheless beautifully executed. My absolute favorite? Rico J’s take on "Ang Huling El Bimbo". ASTEEG!!!
I feel a little embarrassed to admit that I liked MYMP’s version of "Huwag Mo Nang Itanong". Again I read some comments on a blog post that this band’s got no real talent and are just making money out of other artists’ masterpieces. These so-called critics did approve of the new arrangement but it all the more proved daw of Juris and Chin’s lack of talent, so to speak. Well, to each his own, I guess. I liked it, and I’ve been singing to it this morning. Who cares if my neighbor didn’t like it one bit?! Then buy Cueshe’s album instead (ulk).
And on to Cueshe’s rendition of "Hard to Believe". I have yet to hear the original version then I’ll make my verdict. Funny yung mga comments in one blog where a lot of people were bashing them na puro pa-cute lang daw alam nila at namurder pa nila yung song. Feeling rock band daw pero show band naman talaga. Ridiculous and maarte name for a band that’s prone to ridicule (Cueshit) hahaha. Totoo naman.
Kitchie Nadal’s rendition of "Ligaya" was cute enough. Eh sa hindi naman ako super rocker not to appreciate it. If Bianca hadn’t told me about her supposedly primadonna attitude, I might have considered buying her album (pirated or otherwise). Although it’s an obvious way of masking her little inadequacies in the vocal department. Songwriting skills siguro panalo. But otherwise? So-so. "Ilang ahit pa ba ang aahitin, o giliw ko?" Nairita yung iba nung tumawa pa si Kitchie but I find it appropriate enough. Eh ano pa nga ba?
I thought Brownman Revival sang the original for "Maling Akala". No wonder there’s a bit of Ely’s voice I heard. It was a good one din. "Pare Ko" by Spongecola? "Para sa Masa" is a good one too. Orange and Lemons’ "Huwag Kang Matakot" sounded so much like the new Sunsilk jingle. Distinct ang sound nila but it’s not something na hahanap-hanapin ko. I forgot how the E-heads sang "Spoliarium" but Imago’s rendition was good. This band is something ha. Aia’s voice has been described as "ethereal". Naks. I have to agree, Kulasa yan!

If my voice could be described as such, winner chick na talaga ako hahahaha.
This album has a few bad apples rin naman. Number one on my list: Paolo Santos’ "Magasin". Can I just say hindi talaga bagay?! HINDI TALAGA! The idea pa lang that Paolo would execute that kind of song, walang wala na talaga. Next, Southborder’s "With a Smile". Siguro kasi I don’t like the song. It’s too cheesy for men to sing! Di ko talaga feel. Bakit ang "Pare Ko" halos same sentiments but I liked it. But I’m not saying Southborder is bad. They’re good. Minsan. Everytime I see Duncan lang I have visions of this skinny kid dancing alongside Gary V. Would you actually think he’d be a real star in his own right?
Wow ang haba na pala nito. And what do you know, my cramps are gone! I can now sleep.. er… start on my critique paper pala. Tere, lift up that ass of yours up to the 3rd floor!
